Color stability is a key factor in the clinical performance of composite resin restorations. With the advancement of digital manufacturing technologies, 3D-printed resins have been introduced into dentistry; however, their color stability has yet to be fully established. This study aimed to compare the color stability of 3D-printed dental resins with that of a conventional composite resin after exposure to a staining solution. Circular samples (10 mm in diameter × 2 mm in thickness) were fabricated from one conventional composite resin and two 3D-printed resins. The specimens were divided into six groups (n=10) according to the material and immersion medium (distilled water or instant coffee—Nescafé) and subjected to an immersion protocol for 21 days. Color readings were performed using the CIELAB system, and ΔE values were calculated. Data were analyzed using two-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s post hoc test (α = 0.05). A statistically significant difference was found among groups ( p = 0.001), with lower ΔE values for samples immersed in water and greater color changes for those exposed to coffee. It can be concluded that both the type of material and the immersion solution influence color stability, with conventional composite resin being less resistant to pigmentation than 3D printed resins.
