This article aims to analyze Lady Gaga's work "Disease," from the album Mayhem (2025). The focus is on a Jungian perspective, highlighting a narrative marked by the fragmentation of the self, psychic suffering, and confrontation with internal forces. The music video exposes repressed content, pain, and denied aspects of the personality that emerge from the unconscious, leading to a direct encounter with one's own shadow. It presents the archetypes of the shadow and the self, symbolic and bodily images linked to wounds, destruction, and transformation, revealing, through chaos and the experience of internal conflict, the need to recognize and elaborate these dark contents as a path to psychic wholeness.
