PERCEIVED RESULTS IN SMALL COMPANIES FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF INNOVATION MANAGEMENT IN THE MOST PRODUCTIVE BRAZIL PROGRAM - ALI ALTAMIRA PA

Study Objective: To analyze the impact of implementing innovation in micro and small companies in the Brasil Mais Produtivo program of the Xingu Sebrae PA Regional Office. Methodology/approach: This is a descriptive, exploratory qualitative study with multiple case studies, selecting companies from the state of Pará participating in Sebrae's Brasil Mais Program, from the Xingu local management. Bibliographical, documentary and exploratory research on the topics covered in the study was also used, as well as data collection on a proprietary platform. Originality/Relevance: the article presents data that was applied to the Brasil Mais Produtivo program in the central-west of the state of Pará, which deals with company productivity and innovation management using agile response tools. The main results: are that the companies participating in the program have seen an overall increase in productivity and gross revenue indicators, a relative reduction in costs and no change in the number of employees. Another important finding is that entrepreneurs have demystified the idea that innovation management is only generated through high financial investment. Theoretical/methodological contributions: the article presents data that can contribute to the development of new public policy formats and the improvement of programs to support the development of micro and small companies and to the renewal of the Brasil Mais Produtivo program. Social/management contributions: this work presents the research data on the contribution of technological training in innovation management in agile tools applied to micro and small companies and the increase in productivity after participating in the program, which can be used as a subsidy in the development of new similar work, or with the entrepreneurs themselves.
