The article analyzes the extradition requests filed by Austria, the Federal Republic of Germany, and Poland against the Nazi criminal Franz Stangl, former commander of the Sobibor and Treblinka extermination camps, judged by the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil in 1967. The research relies on primary sources from judicial proceedings, examining the arguments of the requests and supporting documentation, the defense, the opinions of the Attorney General, and the votes cast by the Court's ministers. The result was the granting of extradition to the Federal Republic of Germany and Austria, while the Polish request was denied.
