Abstract

Objective: To analyze the scientific production on the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace of Federal Institutions of Higher Education (IFES), from the strategic perspective of Employer Branding. Methods: Systematic literature review conducted according to the PRISMA protocol. Data collection was carried out on March 30, 2026, in the Scopus, SciELO, Web of Science, and SPELL databases, using descriptors related to "person with disability," "work," and "higher education." The selection process followed stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion, and methodological evaluation of the studies using the MMAT tool. Results: 27 initial records were identified, resulting in a final corpus of 4 articles. The analysis revealed that inclusion in IFES is still based on the bureaucratic fulfillment of quotas, with only 26% of reserved positions being filled. Critical gaps persist for the effective inclusion of people with disabilities. Conclusions: The articulation between University Management and Employer Branding presents itself as an opportunity to transcend legal obligations and consolidate practices of appreciation and belonging. The scarcity of literature reinforces the originality of the study and highlights the need for future empirical research.
